Strattons Farm

About our CSA..

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between farmers and member families.  Members invest in our farm by paying in advance for a weekly basket of seasonal fresh organic vegetables for the duration of the growing season.

This helps your farmer to meet all or part of a farm's operating expenses before and during the season.

CSA members accept the risk that weather and pests may effect the availability and abundance of certain crops at certain times.  We commit to providing diverse, seasonal baskets of our exceptionally fresh, certified organic vegetables.

How does our Summer CSA work?..

Members sign up for the full CSA season 16 weeks (full share) or 8 weeks (Half share) running from mid June till late September early October.  We offer one size of basket.  You can choose to pick it up every week (weekly share) or every two weeks (bi-weekly/half share).

What will be in my basket?..

Each basket will contain between 7-12 vegetable varieties  grown on our farm.  The contents of the baskets will change throughout the season.

We aim to provide lots of well-loved vegetables (carrots, lettuce, garlic, tomatoes) as well as some of the unusual crops (fennel, radicchio, kohlrabi, asian greens)

Here is what the baskets may look like during the season.
